Introduction
One you are ready to do so, you can notify all of the attendees of the meeting about the aspects of that meeting that are relevant to them automatically using boardcycle. When you do this, boardcycle will send each attendee a notification that reflects that person's level of participation in the meeting. For example, notifications differ depending on:
is the person attending many items (or all) of the meeting, or just a few items;
whether the person is attending items or presenting them; and
whether the person is the owner of any action items which are due at the meeting.
How to notify attendees of a meeting
You can notify all or some of the attendees of a meeting in a single step as follows:
at the top of the Attendance tab of the meeting, click the Send Notifications button
all attendees who have access to their personal portal will be selected automatically. Deselect anyone who you do not wish to notify
if you would like to be cc'd on the emails sent, select the CC me on each email checkbox
click Confirm and Send
Worth knowing: you can only notify attendees with portal access
Boardcycle will only send notifications to attendees who have been granted access to their personal portal in boardcycle. You can do this by clicking the Grant Access button shown above, or by following the steps in this article.
What does the notification email look like?
Depending on your company settings, notification emails to attendees will either include or exclude agenda and action item details as shown below:
