Introduction
If you want to share the actions for a forum with people who don't use boardcycle, you can quickly and easily do so by a forum-level action export.
Worth knowing: You an export a meeting-specific actions paper/report
Although a forum-level actions export is likely to be suitable for submission to a board/committee as the action items (matters arising) paper/report for a meeting, boardcycle can also produce a meeting-specific version that includes information about the meeting. Exporting actions for a forum
To export the actions table for a forum:
open the forum
click the Export button
select Forum Actions
The actions export will then download to the downloads folder of your computer.
Worth knowing: set your browser to automatically open the agenda
Most modern browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, etc) can be set to automatically open .docx files, meaning that once your agenda downloads, it will automatically open without you needing to open it manually.
If you wish to do this, we recommend that do a web search for instructions on how to do this for the specific browser you use.
