Introduction
It is common practice to include a paper/report at board/committee meetings that sets out all open actions (matters arising) for that forum, showing their status and providing an update on progress towards closing each item. The good news is that boardcycle can produce that paper/report for you automatically.
Exporting actions for a meeting
To export a paper/report for a meeting:
open the meeting
click the Export button
select Actions
The actions export will then download to the downloads folder of your computer.
Worth knowing: set your browser to automatically open the actions export
Most modern browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, etc) can be set to automatically open .docx files, meaning that once your actions export downloads, it will automatically open without you needing to open it manually.
If you wish to do this, we recommend that you do a web search for instructions on how to do this for the specific browser you use.
