Introduction

Attendance notes allow you to add information about a person's attendance at a meeting which does not relate to specific items. For example:

  • reasons why a person is an apology for a meeting

  • information about late arrivals, early departures, hard stops, etc

  • information about how a person is attending (e.g. via videoconference).

This information is then included in the attendance table of the run sheet for that meeting.

Adding an attendance note

To add an attendance note to an attendee of a meeting:

  1. click the Attendance tab

  2. click the edit icon next to the relevant attendee

  3. add your note in the Attendance notes box

  4. click Save.

Worth knowing: attendance notes are not copied between meetings

boardcycle considers attendance notes to be specific to an individual meeting. Accordingly, when you copy a meeting, the attendance notes for that meeting are not copied with it.
