Introduction

Run sheet notes allow you to include information relating to an item that is useful for a chair to know as they are conducting a meeting. While there is a wide variety of useful notes that could be included, some cases where they may be useful include:

  • information on the number of directors required for quorum to open the meeting

  • specific wording the chair should use for certain items

  • to explain why certain items are on the agenda

  • to explain the status of an item.

Adding a run sheet note to an item

To add a run sheet note to an item:

  1. click the edit icon

  2. in the side panel, click on the run sheet note box

  3. you will then see a pop-up editor appear where you can add the run sheet note

  4. when you are finished, click the x icon or click anywhere outside the editor.

Worth knowing: run sheet notes are not copied between meetings

boardcycle considers run sheet notes to be specific to an individual meeting. Accordingly, when you copy a meeting, the run sheet notes for that meeting are not copied with it.
