Your boardcycle account is organised into a 3-level hierarchy as follows:
Organisation | The highest level of your boardcycle account. You can only have 1 organisation per boardcycle account.
An organisation can have 1 or many companies within it. | Example A corporate group is an organisation in boardcycle. |
Company | A company sits inside an organisation. Company is the word we use for a legal entity or other type of standalone organisational unit.
A company can have 1 or many forums. | Examples A public or private company, a trust and a partnership are all companies in boardcycle. |
Forum | A forum is group of people who are associated with a company who have meetings and make decisions or recommendations on behalf of that company.
Meetings are created inside forums. | Examples A board of directors, committee or an executive team are all forums in boardcycle. |
